Day01: Chiangrai(Thailand)-Huayxai-Muangsing(L/D)

Welcome you at the hotel in Chiangrai province in Thailand, then transfer to Houeyxai for Lao immigration, then excursion by road to Muangsing, visit That old Phon stupa in Luangnamtha, have lunch there, visit Ban Korakhamai Akha village for photoe. Have dinner and Overnight

Day02: Muangsing(B/L/D)

07’00 am visit the local market fulfilled with hill tribe people such as: Taidam, Tailue, Mhong, Akha, Yao…08’00 am back to guesthouse for breakfast. 08’45 am take a drive about 10 Km to visit Ban Phoudonthan Yao hill tribe village and Ban Eura Akha village. Have lunch in Muangsing. Afternoon visit Buddish Tailue temple style. Overnight
Day03: Muangsing-Udomxai(B/L/D)
Visit Muangsing museum, take a drive to Udomxai visit Lantan village at Ban Namdee and  Mhong hill tribe village on the way. Arrive Udomxai in the afternoon, visit That say stupa.

Day04: Udomxai-MuangNgoi(B/L/D)

Visit local fresh market, continue driving through mountainous road to Muang Ngoi the small charming village surrounded by mountain rock and rivers, visit Tam Phatok the former communist army cave, evening enjoy and relax

Day05: MuangNgoi-Luangprabang(B/L/D)

Excursion on the Nam Ou river the majestic river in the north, visit Pak Ou holly cave and Ban Sanghai the village that make local alcohol from the Mekong River. Arrive Luangprabang in late evening. Free time

Day06: Luangprabang(B/L/D)

06’15 am, leaving hotel to visit monk arm collection site. 07’00 am, visit local fresh market. 08’00 am back to hotel for breakfast, Visit the museum installed in the old Royal Palate, temple of Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Pak Khane, Wat Khili, Wat Pa Phai, Wat Vixun and Manorom, Central market and evening market. Climb up the Phousy Mount, where you have one overall picture on the city. The brilliant roofs of the pagodas mix with stripped plaster vestiges of colonial architecture, have lunch. Afternoon, excursion by road to visit Kuangsi waterfall. Dinner and visit night market

Day07: Luangprabang-Xiengkhuang(B/L/D)

08’00 am, excursion by road through the mountainous road towards Phonsavan. You arrive in an area of place located at the altitude of 1200 meters and let you discover all initially old Buddhist of Muang Sui, strongly damaged temples during the war during the Sixties and Seventies. Visit some tribe villages such as Mhong, Laotheung along the way such at Ban Keokacham, Ban Sala Phoukhoun....
Phonsavan is the new chief town of district of Xieng Khouang province. The area is the historical center of the Phuan language, which belongs to the family of Tai languages. 17’00 am, visit the particular site of Thong Hai Hin, located at 15 kms in the South-west of Phonsavanh and which counts 250 earthenware jars, weighing between 600 kgs and 6 tons. These earthenware jars were cut in molasse (mixture of sandstone and granite) there is more than 2000 years. One does not know exactly if these earthenware jars were funeral urns or not. Others think that they could be containers for wine fermentation or with the conservation of rice. It is possible that these earthenware jars are dependent with the history of the civilization of Dong whose center was to Vietnam. But the mystery remains for the moment ....... !! One can not wait for moment how to admire them! There were several thousands of them but only 500 escaped from the destruction related to the war, since 1945 and especially in the Sixties and Seventies.

Day08. Xiengkhuang-Vientiane(B/L/D)

Discover "Plain of the Earthenware jars". We discover also another site, Hai Hin Laat Khai, located at 35 Kms in the South of Phonsavanh, with 150 earthenware jars on one hill from where the sight is splendid. Transfer to airport to fly to Vientiane

Day09. Vientiane-Depart(B/L)
Discover this small capital of Laos, such as That Luang stup, the national monument which is very important for all laotiens, symbolizing at the same time of the Buddhist religion and Lao sovereignty. Visit also of Vat Sasaket, the temple going back to 1818 BC, the only one to be saved by the raid of Siamese in 1828 BC. Vat Pha Kaew, old Royal Temple transformed into Museum, national museum, have lunch and transfer to airport for departure
